Powerful Audio System
The Dead Center Fairing includes a well-matched audio system that delivers clear, strong sound even at higher speeds and over typical aftermarket exhaust pipes.
Featuring a Jensen stereo head unit with Electronic Shock Protection and Polk Audio speakers. Includes an internally-mounted antenna.
Jensen MP6312i CD Receiver

The Jensen MP6312i features Electronic Shock Protection. This means that the stereo will read-ahead on the CD and store the data electronically so that the unit is unaffected if you hit a bump or encounter a vibration that normally would cause skipping. Skipping is therefore virtually eliminated! In our testing on Road King, Softail and Road Star models we have not been able to get the CD player to skip, no matter what size or variety of bumps we hit.

|
Large, easy to manipulate controls. The MP6312 features a large volume knob as well as station preset, up/down track buttons, etc.

Satellite ready. The MP6312 is compatible with both XM Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio, although only XM tuners are available at this time. Jensen is saying they will have Sirius tuners available this spring/summer.

CD/CD-R/CD-RW/MP3/WMA playback. Enjoy up to 10 complete albums of MP3 music and up to 20 of WMA from a single disc that you burn in one of these formats.

Includes hand-held infrared remote control. |

Retracting stereo cover
Tinted cover can be easily retracted into the fairing and provides extra protection when in the rain or washing your bike.

Neodymium driver magnets, are about 1/10 the weight of a comparable ceramic magnet and much more powerful.
Sensitivity: 94db. Higher sensitivity means better efficiency resulting in more loudness for a given amount of power input. |

Optional amp (+$450): Biketronics Titan 75 watts/channel Class-D amp
Add the optional Biketronics Titan 75 watts per channel (RMS) amplifier to your fairing for the ultimate in powerful audio performance. The Titan will TRANSFORM your motorcycle audio experience with teeth-clinching, high-quality sound.
The Titan is the smallest, most powerful mobile amp in its class. “Class D” amplifier technology more efficiently transforms DC power from your battery into watts for your speakers. This high efficiency drastically minimizes loss to heat – so little that the Titan doesn’t need large cooling fins.

More expensive than a traditional large, hot automotive style amplifier, but absolutely the correct technology for a motorcycle fairing application. Very small, the Titan is designed to fit nicely inside a fairing and to run reliably there without ever overheating. And performance is stunning.
When ordered with your Dead Center Fairing the Titan is pre-installed inside the fairing on top of the stereo, below our plastic drip-guard. We use a 6-pin Deutsch DT waterproof connector providing the Titan with its own dedicated power and ground wires. The amp is wired to the stereo such that it comes on when the stereo is powered up, and is off when the stereo is off.
For the optimum in performance and longevity we recommend the Polk MM651 speaker upgrade when ordering the Biketronics Titan amp. The MM651s are rated to handle the full power of the Titan and in our testing they also produce an audibly punchier, stronger and cleaner sound.
Other features of the Titan amp:
Hi-Tech High-Efficiency Switching Amplifier.
Single piece water resistant automotive quality design.
Protects charging system with Biketronics StatorGuard™ technology.
Famous Biketronics Reliability.
Designed and manufactured in the USA. |

Custom Wiring Harness
Features Deutsch DT Series electrical connectors, as utilized by Harley-Davidson.
Connectors utilize a seal to protect electrical contacts from dirt and moisture and can be serviced as outlined by your HD service manual.
Female connector is mounted firmly on the motorcycle using a mounting clip; male connector is on a dongle coming off the fairing. No loose wires or connectors are left on your bike when the fairing is removed.
